Michael Compton

Michael Compton has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Michael currently holds the position of Principal Customer Success Manager at Teamworks since January 2024. Michael also serves as a Principal Consultant at the same company since April 2023. Prior to their current roles, Michael worked as an Adjunct Professor at Lasell University starting from February 2022. Michael also worked as a Human Performance and Education Specialist at Keiser Corporation from February 2022 to April 2023. Before that, they were a Performance Coach at Future from March 2021 to December 2022. From August 2021 to February 2022, they were a Supervisor Consultant Human Performance at Smartabase, and prior to that, they served as a Principal Consultant and Sport Science Consultant at the same company from December 2020 and September 2018 respectively. In 2018, Michael participated in a month-long project with Nike as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for "JDI at The Church", where they helped educate and train high school athletes. Before that, they held the position of Director of Sports Performance for Men's Basketball at St. John's University from November 2014 to July 2018, and prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the same university from July 2013 to November 2014. Michael also gained experience as a Sports Performance Intern at Stanford University from January 2013 to June 2013 and at DePaul University Athletics from May 2012 to August 2012. Their earlier career started at the Eastern Illinois Campus Recreation Center, where they worked as a Building Coordinator from August 2008 to April 2012.

Michael Compton received a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Eastern Illinois University in 2012. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from St. John's University, completing it in 2015.
