Shawn Stangeland

Shawn Stangeland is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in financial management and leadership. Currently serving as Accounting Controller at TEC Canada since September 2015, Shawn has previously held positions as Accounting Manager and Accounting Supervisor. Prior experience at Newalta includes roles as Accounting Supervisor, Financial Analyst, and Capital Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed financial statement analysis, team development, and month-end activities. Earlier in the career, Shawn worked as a Treasury Accountant at Mark's Work Wearhouse. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has pursued additional education in Payroll Leadership and leadership training.
