Melissa Purvis

Melissa Purvis has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Melissa is currently serving as the Corporate Director of Finance at TEC Equipment, a position they have held since September 2021. Before that, they were the Regional Manager for California and Nevada at TEC Equipment from April 2014 to September 2021. Prior to their role as Regional Manager, Melissa was the Finance Manager at TEC Equipment from July 2004 to April 2014.

Before joining TEC Equipment, Melissa worked at Rush Truck Center - Nashville from October 2000 to July 2004, where they served as the Regional Finance Manager. Melissa also worked at Truckworx as a Finance Assistant from December 1997 to October 2000.

Melissa’s earlier work experience includes working as an Area Director at Nutrisystem from April 1995 to March 1997. Melissa began their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Alabama from June 1993 to April 1995. Overall, Melissa Purvis has gained extensive experience in finance, management, and teaching throughout their career.

Melissa Purvis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dual Major in Psychology and Nutrition from The University of Alabama, between the years 1989 and 1993. Melissa then continued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Statistics from 1993 to 1995.
