Calvin Louie

Calvin Louie is an accomplished Field Service Application Specialist at Tecan, with a career spanning over a decade in automation and liquid handling systems. Since May 2014, Calvin has excelled in roles such as Senior Field Automation Engineer and Field Automation Engineer, showcasing expertise in complex installations and troubleshooting of advanced automation equipment. Prior to Tecan, Calvin held a position as Research Technician/Assistant II at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, where skills in liquid handling optimization were developed, and contributed significantly to Crescendo Bioscience’s automation efforts as Accession Tech III. Academic credentials include a Biochemistry degree from UCLA, complemented by an early technical foundation in biotechnology from John O'Connell Technical High School.
