David Friedman

David Friedman is the current Chairman at Tech Coast Angels. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Narus Inc from December 2009 to June 2011. In this role, David was responsible for traditional marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing, and social marketing. David successfully repositioned and rebranded Narus during their tenure.

From January 2012 to July 2015, David served on the Board of Directors for Patient Central Technologies. The company was shuttered in summer 2015.

Most recently, from October 2013 to July 2014, David worked as the COO and business adviser for Hibe under Performance Marketing Group's auspices. In this role, they worked closely with the CEO and VP of Marketing on positioning and branding, developing the product road map, and helped the CEO obtain funding for their A-round financing and growth objectives.

David Friedman began their educational career by obtaining a BEE in Electrical Engineering from The City College of New York. David then went on to obtain an MSEE in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York. Lastly, they obtained an MBA in Economics from The George Washington University School of Business.
