Shahzeb Mahmood

Shahzeb Mahmood is an experienced legal and research professional currently serving as Head of Research and Senior Researcher at Tech Global Institute since September 2023. Shahzeb has been a Consultant and Associate at Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed & Associates since August 2017, and previously held the role of Research Assistant at UNSW from March 2023 to December 2024. Shahzeb's experience also includes working as External Legal Counsel at HSBC between January 2020 and December 2021, and as a Lecturer at London College of Legal Studies (South) from August 2017 to July 2020. Early career roles consist of Research Assistant positions at Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University, Hon Justice M. Imman Ali, and a Research Intern position at A Hossain & Associates Law Offices. Shahzeb Mahmood is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy and Management at the University of Melbourne and has earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Media, Intellectual Property, and Technology Law from UNSW, along with completing a Bar Professional Training Course at the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of London.
