Benjamin Vaissier

3D Software Developer at Tech Soft 3D

Benjamin Vaissier began their work experience in 2015 as a CAD Designer during an engineering internship at Laboratoire G-SCOP Grenoble. Benjamin designed an indoor sport equipment and validated it through simulation, resulting in the manufacture and assembly of a working prototype.

In 2016, they joined Poly-Shape as a Software Developer in Additive Manufacturing, where they developed a CAD software for lattice structures optimization. Benjamin also worked as a CAD Designer and was involved in the design and manufacture of innovative metal parts using Laser Beam Melting technology. Benjamin contributed to the development of a support and lattice structures optimization algorithm and participated in the redaction of a patent application.

During the same period, Benjamin pursued a Ph.D. with Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in partnership with Poly-Shape. Benjamin'sresearch focused on the multicriteria optimization of support structures for additive manufacturing processes. Benjamin developed a C#/WPF software and published three scientific articles. Additionally, they worked on the development of back-end geometric libraries.

Most recently, in 2020, Benjamin joined Tech Soft 3D as a 3D Software Developer.

Benjamin Vaissier obtained their Engineer's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Grenoble INP - Génie industriel, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme and attended the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath for a year. In addition to these educational achievements, Benjamin has received additional certifications in C# and .NET (Hard) from TestDome in May 2018, in SQL from TestDome in September 2019, and in Java Algorithms from TestDome in March 2019.
