Svetla Iovtcheva

Svetla Iovtcheva has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Svetla is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at TECH5 since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ImageWare Systems, Inc. for a significant period from 2005 to 2023, holding the position of Principal Software Engineer. Svetla'srole involved working on multi-modal biometric security and authentication using various techniques such as fingerprint, face, iris, voice, and mobile app. Svetla also had experience in integrating biometric devices and developing custom GINA and Credential Providers for Windows systems.

Before joining ImageWare Systems, Inc., Svetla worked at I/O Software, Inc. from 2000 to 2005 as a Lead Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they developed single sign-on application modules to replace passwords with biometric authentication in Internet Explorer and Windows applications. Svetla also worked on modules for encryption and authentication using smart cards and PKCS-11 and PKCS-7 standards.
