Joe Langle

Joe Langle has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Joe is currently working as the Vice President of the Program Management Office at TechAccel LLC since April 2021. Before that, they worked at Honeywell FM&T for four years as a Program Management Manager, where they managed a portfolio of engineering and product development programs for US Government entities.

Prior to their role at Honeywell, Joe worked at MRIGlobal for thirteen years in various positions, including Senior Program Manager, Section Manager, Group Leader, and Senior Engineer. Joe performed line management, program management, systems engineering, and lead engineering roles in the defense industry, specializing in chemical and biological warfare defense. At MRIGlobal, Joe managed a technical section of 45 staff, engaged in strategic and fiscal planning, led internal R&D activities, and managed large, complex programs.

Before joining MRIGlobal, Joe worked as a Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute for six years. Joe designed, analyzed, and tested space science instruments and spaceflight computers, gaining significant hands-on experience. Noteworthy programs they worked on include the Solar Wind Around Pluto (SWAP) instrument aboard the New Horizons spacecraft, the Ion Mass Analyzer (IMA) sensor aboard the Rosetta spacecraft, and the Remote Interface Unit (RIU) on the Deep Impact spacecraft.

Early in their career, Joe worked as an Engineer at Fike Corporation.

Joe Langle obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1995. Joe completed their high school education at Rockhurst High School in 1991. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Remote Pilot for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems certification from the FAA in 2016. Additionally, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
