Andrew Leest

Andrew Leest is an experienced professional in venture growth and startup advisory with a strong background in program management and business development. Currently serving as the Manager of Venture Growth at TechAlliance of Southwestern Ontario since May 2021, Andrew oversees a team of Startup Advisors and cultivates relationships with venture capitalists and key ecosystem partners. Prior to this role, Andrew held positions including Startup Advisor and Innovation Works Coordinator, where expertise in operations, client guidance, and community engagement was demonstrated. Andrew's diverse experience also spans building maintenance, product consulting, and teaching assistant roles at the University of Waterloo, complemented by educational qualifications including a Master's in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
