Nandini Basu Phookan

Nandini Basu Phookan has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Nandini began their career as a Customer Service Executive at Mphasis and later worked as an HR Executive at Wipro Infotech. Nandini then served as a Resource Manager at Optimos and an Asst. Manager - Talent Search at EXL Service. Nandini also worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Relationship Manager and Orchid International Services as a Co-Founder. Nandini played a significant role in founding Vaidyaa, a social enterprise and NGO focused on healthcare accessibility. Currently, Nandini is the Founder of Tara Essentials, where they collaborate with artisans to create fabric masks and hygiene kits. Nandini also served in leadership positions at Techaxis, Inc, including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President - Talent Acquisition. Prior to that, they were the Global Head Delivery (Talent Acquisition) at Tech Axis, Inc. Nandini's experience includes developing recruitment strategies, managing teams, and expanding business revenue.

Nandini Basu Phookan completed their Master of Arts degree in Economics from Pune University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Fergusson College from 1995 to 1998. Nandini completed their secondary education at St. Mary's School Pune from 1984 to 1992, where they studied English, Maths, Hindi, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Civics, and Cookery. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from K J Somaiya Institute of Management, but the year of completion is unspecified.
