Enric Bas

Enric Bas is the Director of FUTURLAB-Creative Futures and a Professor of Social Change, Foresight, and Social Innovation at the University of Alicante in Spain, where they have taught since 2001. With over 25 years of experience in exploring the future, Enric has authored significant works in Futures Studies and has served as a Foresight Advisor to the European Commission since 2015. Enric holds a PhD in Sociology and engages in various international educational and advisory roles, including as a member of the editorial boards for leading journals and as a visiting professor across several institutions. They are recognized for their contributions to social foresight and creative innovation, actively participating in multiple think tanks and research projects globally.
