Bill Fischer

VP, Platform Services at Techflow

Bill Fischer is the VP of Platform Services at Techflow. Bill has over 25 years of experience in program management and has held various executive positions at companies such as Smiths Detection, GE, SRA, SkyOnline, and Lucent Technologies.

Fischer began their career at Lockheed Martin in 1990 as a Space Satellite Program Manager. Bill then moved to Lucent Technologies in 1997, where they became the Program Management Director of the Global PM Platform. In 2000, they joined SkyOnline as the VP of Operations & Integration.

After two years at SkyOnline, Fischer transitioned to SRA, a CSRA company, where they served as a Principal Consultant/Program Manager until 2006. Bill then joined GE as the Executive Director of Customer Programs for GE Homeland Protection/Morpho Detection. Fischer left GE in 2017 to join Smiths Detection as the Vice President of Program Management. Bill held this position until 2020, when they joined Techflow as the VP of Platform Services.

Bill Fischer attended Harvard Business School, where they earned an Executive Management Program degree. Bill also holds a M.S. in Engineering from Bucknell University, as well as a B.S. in Engineering from the same school.
