Ben Gray serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Kraken since February 2025, overseeing the global Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit teams. In addition, Ben is a Charter Member at The L Suite (TechGC), an exclusive peer community for legal professionals in the tech sector. Previously, Ben held the position of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Paxos from January 2022 to February 2025, leading extensive teams focused on various legal and compliance areas within the blockchain industry. Ben also contributed as a Strategic Advisor to the Global Data Consortium Compliance Advisory Board from July 2020 to July 2022, guiding on international regulatory frameworks. Additionally, Ben briefly served as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Block, following its rebranding from Square. Ben holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University.
