Jeanye Kwack is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in privacy, information governance, and corporate law within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as the US Privacy and Information Governance Director at Biogen since April 2025, Jeanye previously held the position of Director (Senior Counsel) and Privacy Lead Partner/Deputy DPO at AstraZeneca for a brief period in early 2025, following a tenure as Senior Director, Legal and Data Protection Officer at Neogene Therapeutics. Jeanye’s prior roles include Director of Transactions and Privacy Counsel at Alector, where expertise was applied to various clinical studies, and Director, Commercial and Corporate Senior Counsel at 23andMe, overseeing corporate transactions and product initiatives. Beginning a legal career as a Corporate Associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, Jeanye has developed a diverse legal background, including positions at Pharmacyclics and Genentech.
