John Lee

John Lee is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Ivo since July 2024. Previously, John held roles as a DeputyGC Steering Committee Member at TechGC from 2023 to 2024, and as Senior Counsel at CapitalG from 2021 to 2024. John has extensive experience in M&A, corporate, and private equity, having worked as Partner at Massumi + Consoli LLP and Of Counsel at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. John’s legal career includes positions at WilmerHale and White & Case LLP, as well as corporate counsel experience at Peabody Energy. Notably, John co-founded BESPECD Pty Ltd., a vertically integrated e-commerce startup, and has a diverse educational background including degrees from Georgetown University Law Center and NYU Stern School of Business, complemented by business training from Harvard Business School Online.
