Eric David Benari, PMP, serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Techie Youth, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing technology education to at-risk youth, particularly those in the foster care system. As Chairman of Database Month, Eric has organized biannual technology festivals in New York City focusing on database technologies. Eric is also a member of the New York CTO Club and has presented at several prestigious universities and conferences. As Chief Architect of the phpMoAdmin project, Eric developed a user-friendly PHP admin-GUI tool for MongoDB. Additionally, Eric has successfully coordinated the NoSQL+NewSQL NYC Database Meetup, growing it into the world's largest database group on Meetup, and organized a major data-tech conference at the United Nations. In previous roles, Eric was the CEO of GoChat and served as Chairman and Emcee for the Percona Live MySQL Conference in NYC. Eric's educational background includes studies at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, LIU Post, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
