Cishahayo Songa Achille

Cishahayo Songa Achille has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Cishahayo Songa is currently the Managing Director of Techinika, where they lead the day-to-day operations and spearheads the mission of providing digital skills to individuals and businesses. Prior to this, they founded Techinika as a platform to bridge the digital skills gap in Africa.

Achille has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Progress MiH, where they used Python Django and Next JS to develop various projects. Cishahayo Songa gained experience as a Frontend Engineer at ELABMAN Ltd, working on projects for government institutions, NGOs, and in-house projects.

Additionally, Achille has been involved in community organizing and education. Cishahayo Songa was a Community Organizer at Rwanda Technology Community, organizing learning sessions and hackathons for tech enthusiasts. Cishahayo Songa also served as Vice President of Rise and Talk English & Gavel Club, which focuses on communication and leadership development for students.

Achille has experience in content creation as well, with their own YouTube channel and LinkedIn newsletter where they create videos and shares ideas on topics like business and communication. Further, they have contributed as a Code + Design Camp Coach and Frontend Web Developer in various programs and internships including The Gym and GitStart.

Lastly, Achille is a Co-Founder of the African Soft Skills Organization and worked as a Program Coordinator at AFFLATUS AFRICA's Mentor for Change program, matching mentors with mentees and helping them achieve their career goals.

Cishahayo Songa Achille completed an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology at Integrated Polytechnic Regional College (IPRC) Kigali from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma in Computer Networking from IPRC Kigali/TSS between 2017 and 2019. In addition to their formal education, Achille has obtained several certifications, including Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage, Introduction to Digital Journalism Certification by Reuters, Entrepreneurship Skills Development from the East African Community, Participation in Zindi Kinyarwanda-English Text Cleaning Hackaton from Zindi, Startup Mentoring Certification from Startup Weekend Kigali, Interpersonal Communication Training and Marketing and Branding Training from AFFLATUS AFRICA, and Software Engineering Training from Andela.
