Fei Han

Fei Han, Ph.D. is a Senior Principal Data Scientist at BAE Systems since January 2024, with a robust background in material science and data analysis. Previously, Fei held roles as Principal Engineer and Lead Engineer at Coherent Corp. from January 2021 to January 2024, and served as a Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between October 2017 and January 2021, where notable work included developing a neural network classifier for superconducting materials. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Florida International University, where Fei advanced X-ray optics technology, and at Argonne National Laboratory, resulting in the discovery of over 20 new materials and numerous publications in leading scientific journals. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Material Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
