James Lei Jin

James Lei Jin is an accomplished Data Scientist with extensive experience in various industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. Currently employed at National Grid, James focuses on time series-based forecasting for gas project control. Previous roles include positions at Frontage Laboratories, where James developed a Sentiment Analytics Detector, and The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, where an Insight Engine for credit risk analysis was created. James has a strong background in statistical modeling, data analysis, and machine learning, demonstrated through work with antibody production optimization, liver injury research, and cancer gene expression analysis. James holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Master’s degree from Fudan University, and an MD from Zhengzhou University.
