RS Sattanathan has diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 1997, they began their career as an Associate Manufacturing & Systems Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation. RS stayed with the company for three years before moving on to CenturyLink in 2000.

At CenturyLink, RS Sattanathan initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed a web application utilizing ASP.NET toolkit for processing fallout orders. RS later transitioned into a Technical Lead role, managing the software development lifecycle for telecommunications order entry and customer support applications. RS was recognized for delivering outstanding results and played a key role in consolidating functionality and streamlining process flow across applications.

In 2015, RS Sattanathan joined IBM as a Team Lead, where they established and mentored a new offshore software development team. RS successfully led the transition of CenturyLink's ordering applications to IBM.

Finally, in 2018, RS Sattanathan became a Program Manager at Techmetics, the first US hire for the company. Their responsibilities included facilitating the adoption of Techmetics robots in the hospitality and healthcare sectors. RS leveraged their relationship with Yotel in Singapore to deploy the first Techmetics robot in the US, and also drove collaboration between technical teams to develop software-based elevator interfaces for service robots at Marriott San Jose.

RS Sattanathan obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, attending from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Bangalore University, though the exact dates are unknown.
