Maciek Stopa

Maciek Stopa's work experience begins in 2018 when they joined Techmo as a Junior Python Developer (intern). In this role, they assisted in maintaining training and testing data and wrote Python scripts for simpler tasks. Maciek then transitioned to a Python Developer (ML Engineer) position, where they trained automatic speech recognition models for clients' needs and participated in research on new ASR technologies. Maciek also independently developed several additional NLP products. After that, Maciek became a Senior Python Developer (Machine Learning Engineer), where they assisted a team of researchers in delivering stable NLP and speech product prototypes. Maciek also managed the automation of work processes and tools to improve productivity and efficiency, as well as provided support to junior colleagues by debugging and reviewing code. In 2022, Maciek started working as a Python Teacher, teaching Python from scratch to an intermediate level and creating practical applications while immersing himself in the processes of professional software development.

Maciek Stopa completed their undergraduate education at Jagiellonian University, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Polish Language and Literature from 2013 to 2018. After that, they enrolled at the AGH University of Krakow and is currently pursuing an Engineer's degree in Computer Science, which is expected to be completed between 2019 and 2023. Additionally, Maciek was awarded a scholarship at UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), but the duration and specifics of this experience are not provided.
