Napoleon-Christos Oikonomou

Napoleon-Christos Oikonomou has a strong background in software engineering and development. Napoleon-Christos started their career as a Full-Stack Software Engineer and Research Associate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where they gained experience in Node.js, Express, React.js, and MongoDB. Napoleon-Christos then moved on to Cyclopt, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer, leading the development of web applications using technologies such as React.js, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, GraphQL, and Serverless Microservices. After completing their tenure at Cyclopt, they joined TechNative Software Services as a Lead Software Engineer, continuing to focus on full stack development and using similar technologies. In 2023, they also took on a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Caro Health, working on a platform that enhances patient-centered care while reducing healthcare costs and enhancing patient outcomes. Prior to their career in software development, Napoleon-Christos served as a Computer Programmer in the Hellenic Army, completing a 1-year mandatory service and receiving recognition for their exemplary performance.

Napoleon-Christos Oikonomou has a comprehensive education history with a focus on technology and data-related fields. In 2018, they enrolled at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) to pursue a Master's degree in Data & Web Science, which they completed in 2020. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2018, they also completed a Diploma/Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Before entering university, Napoleon-Christos Oikonomou obtained their High School Diploma from 5th General Unified Lyceum of Ioannina in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Napoleon-Christos Oikonomou has also obtained multiple certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Napoleon-Christos obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2023. In April 2021, they received the GitLab Certified Associate certification from GitLab. Napoleon-Christos has also completed various online courses and certifications, including "The Complete Front-End Web Development Course" from Udemy in August 2020, "Data Science Math Skills" from Coursera in May 2020, "Industrial IoT on Google Cloud Platform" from Coursera in May 2020, "Getting Started with AWS Machine Learning" from Coursera in April 2020, "Introduction to Philosophy" from Coursera in April 2020, "Learn How To Code: Google's Go (golang) Programming Language" from Udemy in April 2020, "Python" from Kaggle in March 2020, "CSS Fundamentals" from SoloLearn in April 2019, and several data-related certifications from DataCamp, such as "Analyzing Police Activity with pandas," "Interactive Data Visualization with Bokeh," "Introduction to Data Visualization with Python," "Joining Data in SQL," "Manipulating DataFrames with pandas," "Merging DataFrames with pandas," "Network Analysis in Python (Part 1)," "Cleaning Data in Python," and "Deep Learning in Python," all completed in 2018 and 2019. Additionally, they obtained the "HTML Fundamentals" certification from SoloLearn in May 2018.
