Cara Murphy

Cara Murphy is a Software Engineer Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since May 2023 and will continue as a Software Engineer (STEP) Intern at Google from May 2024 to August 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a Research and Science Communications Assistant and Teen Research & Science Communications Intern at the Museum of Science from September 2020 to August 2022. Cara is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Immersive Media Design at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2025, with prior education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science.
