Technica
Claire Chen is a dedicated UI/UX Designer at the App Development Club, actively contributing to a Booz Allen Hamilton project since September 2024. In addition, Claire serves as a Tech Assistant for Black Girls Code and holds a fellowship at Startup Shell, both positions starting in August 2024, and organizes operations for Technica since March 2024. Previous experience includes working as an Accessibility & Disability Services Notetaker at the University of Maryland and completing a Software Engineer Internship with the Azure Edge Team at Microsoft. Claire has participated in various programs, including Break Through Tech and the WiSE Program at Jane Street, along with academic scholarships in AI/ML and Web Development through Kode With Klossy. Currently enrolled at the University of Maryland, Claire is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science after completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Richard Montgomery High School.
