Ismael Calderon Otero

Ismael Calderon Otero has a diverse range of work experience. Ismael started their career as an Ingeniero I+D y herramientas at Dinak S.A., where they were involved in 3D design using SolidWorks and Catia, FEM simulation, CNC code, and database management. Ismael then worked as a Project Engineer at Selmark Inc and Tecdisma. SL, where they gained experience in machine design for the automotive industry and assembly machines based on Festo pneumatics and electronics systems. Ismael later joined Tecglass as a Project Engineer and Centro Tecnologico de la Automoción de Galicia - CTAG as a Chef de Pôle and PEA, where they worked on projects related to geometry, project management, and technical problem-solving. Their most recent work experience was at Technica Engineering GmbH, where they worked as a Senior SW Test Engineer and Lead Engineer in system integration, testing, and complex issue analysis, with expertise in bus communications testing, protocol specification, testing strategies, automation, and various software and hardware tools.

Ismael Calderon Otero holds a Master of advanced technologies in process of design and mechanical manufacture from Universidade de Vigo, which they obtained in 2015. Ismael also graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering speciality Mechanics from the same university in 2013. In 2017, they completed a Master prevención de riesgos laborales from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and a Master of Biomedical Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Scrum Manager Nivel Experto from Scrum Manager in 2018 and a Certificate Goethe Institute Deutsch B1 from Goethe-Institut Barcelona in 2017. Ismael also has language fluency certifications in German from Duolingo and an English certification from the University of Vigo.
