Wael Awada

Wael Awada is a seasoned professional in the automotive sector, currently serving as the Functional Safety/Cybersecurity Manager at Technica Engineering since January 2015, with a focus on ISO26262 and ISO21434 standards. Wael has held key roles at BMW Group, including part project leader for personalization, identification, and adaptation, as well as positions in development and quality management for electronic control units. Additional experience includes roles at EDAG as a development engineer and test engineer, and prior quality engineering at Formel D Group. Wael's early career included web-content coordination at BP Mediawork GmbH and sales representation at Espace Vision. An education background features degrees in electrical engineering from Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technische Universität Berlin, along with training in electrical engineering and electronics from Amilieh School ETSA in Beirut.
