John DiLuna II

Founder/CEO at Technical Assent

John DiLuna II has over 18 years of experience in the private and public sectors. From 2002 to 2007, they served as Chief of Foreign Vessel Inspections and Assistant Branch Chief - Area Maritime Security for the US Coast Guard. During this time, they were responsible for planning and executing over 1700 maritime safety and security compliance inspections and developing the Puget Sound Area Maritime Security Plan. In 2007, they began working at SRA - Touchstone as Principal, where they were a trusted advisor to DHS-National Program and Plans Directorate leaders building new cybersecurity programs. In 2011, they became Founder/CEO of Technical Assent, helping to conceive, design, build, and deliver 'Services That Inspire'. John also became Director of Operations and Member of Kickstand, collaborating with business and private equity partners to launch and sustain a $10 million business in less than two years. In 2012, Kickstand was acquired by Catapult Technology.

John DiLuna II obtained their BS in Civil Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy between 1996 and 2000. John then attended SBGE at Seattle Pacific University between 2004 and 2006, graduating with an MBA in Business and an MS-ISM in Information Systems Management. Prior to that, they attended Medway High School. In 2007, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. John is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
