Dave Aspinall

Dave Aspinall has extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within the welding and technical safety sectors. Currently serving as a BPVS Inspector at the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan since September 2014, Dave has previously held roles at Graham as a QA/QC CWB Level 2 from January 2011 to September 2014 and as a QA/QC Co-ordinator at Siemens Laserworks between June 2010 and January 2011. Additional experience includes QA/QC positions at Flint from 2006 to 2007 and at Propak Systems Ltd. as a QA/QC Material Receiving Inspector from May 2005 to March 2006. Dave Aspinall is equipped with a degree in Welding Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, completed in 2006, and attended Central Collegiate from 1997 to 2001.

Technical safety authority of Saskatchewan

The Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan delivers programs and inspection services to make the province a safe place to live, work and play, by ensuring the safe operation of boilers, pressure vessels, elevators, amusement rides, electrical and gas installations throughout the province. The Authority administers licensing and inspection programs related to these devices to ensure they are operated in accordance with safety standards set out in legislation and regulations. The Authority assumes the responsibilities of the Licensing and Inspections branch of the Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing. The Authority was established in response to rapid technological change, industrial and economic growth in the province, and industry's need for more timely inspection services.
