Akio Usuda

Akio Usuda's work experience begins in 2006 when they joined NRC Environmental Services as a Sr. Chemist / Project Manager. Akio worked in this role for almost nine years until February 2015. After that, they joined Univar as a Field Service Operations employee, where they worked for two years until July 2017. In July 2017, Akio joined ACTenviro as a Senior Chemist/Project Manager before ultimately transitioning to Technical Safety Services in January 2021 as a Project Manager, Decommissioning, EHS.

Akio Usuda has a background in education with a focus on chemistry. They attended California State University, Los Angeles, where they studied Inorganic Chemistry. They also pursued studies in Organic Chemistry at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Additionally, Akio studied Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Kapi‘olani Community College.
