Shaun Montano

Shaun Montano has over 14 years of experience in engineering and inspection roles, currently serving as an Engineering Manager, Project Team Member, and Technical Specialist at the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA) since December 2009. Responsibilities include overseeing investigations under O. Reg and serving as a Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector, with expertise in ASME, CSA N285, and CSA B51. Montano has also been stationed at OPG and Bruce Power as an Authorized Nuclear Inspector and has a strong background in contractor quality assurance programs, non-destructive testing, and welding procedures. Prior to TSSA, Montano worked at Acuren Group as an Inspector in Equipment Integrity, managing client accounts, coordinating contractors, and conducting fieldwork related to pipeline and tank inspection. Montano holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree from Western University, earned between 2001 and 2005.
