Denia Kolokotsa

Denia Kolokotsa is an accomplished academic and editor with extensive experience in energy and environmental research. Currently serving as Editor In Chief of Solar Energy Advances at Elsevier for Energy since January 2021, Denia is also a Professor and Associate Professor at the Technical University of Crete, while holding the position of Dean Of Faculty from September 2021 to August 2024. Previously, Denia played a significant role as Chair of the Board of Directors for the European Cool Roofs Council from January 2011 to May 2021, and worked as an Editor at Elsevier Science and Taylor & Francis Group. Denia began the academic career as an Assistant Professor at the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. Denia holds a MSc in Environmental Physics and a MSc in Environmental Engineering from UCL, alongside a PhD in Energy, Environment and Electronics from the Technical University of Crete.
