Julien Silvestre

Julien Silvestre is an experienced R&D Lead Software Developer specializing in Shading, Lighting, Rendering, and Compositing at Technicolor Creative Studios since July 2022, after serving as an R&D Senior Software Developer. Julien is also a co-founder and serves as the Technical Director and FX Supervisor at RedRocks, while contributing as a developer at octoplug.xyz until March 2023. Previous roles include VFX Artist at Lucan Studio and various technical positions at La Fabrique d'Images, contributing to several feature films and TV shows. Early career highlights consist of freelance development for ScanlineVFX and teaching at AMTV. Julien holds a Master’s degree in computer graphics and development from ESTEI and has a strong background in 2D/3D production techniques.
