Hakun Jang

HAKUN JANG, Ph.D., is a seasoned technologist and engineer specializing in fluid dynamics and naval architecture. Currently employed at Technip Energies as a CFD Engineer focusing on floating offshore wind turbines, HAKUN JANG has previous experience as a Naval Architect at EXMAR Offshore Company and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Louisiana State University, where expertise in coupled fluid-structure interaction simulations relevant to offshore oil and gas applications was developed. Earning a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University, HAKUN JANG has contributed to significant research projects, including methodologies to assess ice load impacts and the performance of multi-unit floating offshore wind turbines. Academic roles include teaching and lecturing at various institutions, enhancing knowledge in ocean engineering and structural design.
