Laurent LE CHAPELAIN has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Laurent is currently the Vice President of Operations in Decarbonization Solutions at Technip Energies since 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Consortium Project Director for Large EPCIC, Design & Build, and Energy at Technip Energies from 2021 to 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Laurent worked at TechnipFMC as Consortium Project Director for Large EPCIC, Design & Build, and Technip Energies. Laurent was responsible for managing various projects within the company.

Before joining TechnipFMC, Laurent had an extensive tenure at Technip from 2008 to 2017, serving as a Project and Operations Director in the EPCIC sector of the energy industry.

Laurent also worked at the Centre National d'Études Spatiales from 2003 to 2008, where they served as the Senior Integrity Manager for Spacecrafts Launching Pads.

Prior to that, they held various key positions at NAVAL GROUP, including Program Director for the Scorpene Submarines Transfer of Technology, Director for Export SSK Submarines Transfer of Technology, Director for Submarines Hull & Mechanical Assembly, and Production Manager for SSBN "Le Vigilant" Nuclear Submarine.

Laurent started their career in 1992 at DGA - Direction générale de l'armement as a military officer. Laurent served in this role until 1995.

In 1991, Laurent enlisted in the Marine Nationale as an Officer Cadet, where they served until 1992.

From 1991 to 1995, Laurent LE CHAPELAIN attended ENSTA Bretagne, where they pursued a field of study in naval architecture and marine engineering.
