William Taffet has over 18 years of work experience, primarily in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. William started their career at Technip in 2003 as a Helpdesk Support, providing technical support and troubleshooting to employees. William then progressed to the role of Administrator, where they were responsible for Domino Lotus Notes server administration and monitoring email routing. In 2009, they became a Technician in the Datacenter, focusing on the installation and configuration of physical servers and virtual machines. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Team Leader, coordinating and managing a team, providing assistance and guidance for regional business projects. In 2016, they joined TechnipFMC as an IT Expert, specializing in the Global EDMS IT department. William later became the Manager of European IT Infrastructure & Operations Delivery, where they ensured the consistency of the information system infrastructure and the quality of service provided to users. Currently, William Taffet holds the positions of Senior Manager - Global IT Infra & Operations Delivery and Head of Global Datacenters and Operations Service Delivery at Technip Energies, where they continue to oversee global IT operations and datacenter management.
William Taffet obtained their ITIL Service Management Certification from EXIN in the year 2017. Prior to this, in 2009, they earned a Certification in VMDSA VMware Infrastructure 3.X from Global Knowledge.
