Manikandan Valliappan is an experienced research associate currently at Technische Universität Clausthal since September 2022. Previously, Valliappan completed a master thesis and served as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IPMS from June 2021 to March 2022. As a chassis design engineer for the Racetech Racing Team from November 2018 to June 2019, Valliappan contributed to Formula Student projects. Earlier experience includes a CAD/CAE project internship at Ashok Leyland and leadership roles in the ISIE Hybrid Vehicle 2017 project at the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers-ISIEINDIA. Valliappan began an engineering internship at KPN Enterprises Pvt Limited in April 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computational Materials Science from TU Bergakademie Freiberg and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
