Chiranjib Datta

Chiranjib Datta has an extensive work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Their most recent role is as the Head of Supply Chain and Business Development for the Data Center Business at Techno Electric & Engineering Co. Ltd.

Prior to this, Chiranjib held the position of Head of Supply Chain Management for the Data Center Business at Sterling and Wilson from 2019 to 2022.

From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Reliance Infrastructure as the Senior Vice President of the Central Procurement Group. In this role, they played a key role in developing global sourcing strategies for power and infrastructure projects, leading company-wide sourcing initiatives, and procuring various capital and construction equipment.

Chiranjib also worked at Essar as the Assistant Vice President of the Global Sourcing Division from 2006 to 2010, and at WACKER as the Materials Manager from 2001 to 2006.

Their earlier work experience includes positions at PepsiCo as a Materials Executive from 1999 to 2001, and at GEC Alsthom as a Senior Engineer in Purchase and Planning from 1990 to 1999.

Chiranjib Datta earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calcutta from 1986 to 1990. Chiranjib later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai, from 1997 to 2001.
