Sébastien Balas

Sébastien Balas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector and a strong background in engineering. Currently serving as a Venture Partner in Healthcare at Technofounders and simultaneously co-founding Nodia Metabolics, which focuses on dietary supplements for blood sugar regulation, Sébastien also co-founded Plasana Medical, developing cold plasma treatment technology for chronic wounds. Previous roles include progressing through various positions at Deloitte Switzerland and completing an MBA at INSEAD, where involvement in multiple clubs and a startup bootcamp occurred. Additionally, Sébastien contributed to Moderna Therapeutics as a Process Development Intern and has a strong academic foundation with degrees in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL and previous leadership in student associations.
