Dj Donn Matienzo

Donn Matienzo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of science and technology, currently serving as a Balik Scientist at the Department of Science and Technology since November 2024. Matienzo also holds the position of Head of Business Development for Technologies at the Technological Institute of the Philippines and has been the Chief Commercial Officer at Nascent Technologies Corporation since March 2022. Previous roles include Senior Electrochemist at the University of the Philippines Diliman and R&D Researcher at De Nora, as well as participation in prestigious programs such as the Young Founders Program with the Westerwelle Foundation. Matienzo's educational background includes a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Technology from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, alongside multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
