Sarah Nichols

Sarah Nichols is an accomplished professional with a strong background in engineering and education. Currently, Sarah serves as the Founder and Managing Director of The STEAM Engine and manages the Teacher-Scientist Partnership Program at the Technology Access Foundation, overseeing diverse STEM initiatives at partner schools. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer at Intuitive, where Sarah contributed to R&D and continuous improvement projects, as well as engineering internships at Mark Andy Inc. and research at Harvey Mudd College. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and has also worked in youth development as a camp counselor with the YMCA of San Diego County.
