Katie Dion

Senior Director Of Programs And Partnerships at Technology Association of Georgia

Katie Dion has extensive experience in education and technology workforce development. Katie currently serves as the Strategy and Development Lead for the K-12 InVenture Prize program at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, Katie was the Senior Director of Programs and Partnerships at the Technology Association of Georgia, where they spearheaded various initiatives to promote technology education in K-12 schools throughout the state of Georgia. Katie also held the role of Director of Marketing and Educational Outreach at the same organization, where they implemented effective strategies to engage stakeholders in STEM education and generate positive media coverage. Before their work at the Technology Association of Georgia, Katie served as the Director of Communications and Public Relations for K-12 Charter Schools. Katie started their career in education as a Social Science Education Teacher at a middle school and later became the Vice Principal at FSA Middle School.

Katie Dion obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Science Education from The University of Georgia, between the years 1998 and 2001.
