Penny Long

Penny Long has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Penny started their career at Versar in 1981, where they worked as a Controller and Assistant Controller, overseeing a staff of 25. During their time at Versar, Penny successfully implemented a new computer software system that streamlined accounting practices and improved reporting accuracy. In 1990, they joined Deltek as a Designer and System Consultant, where they designed accounting systems and provided consulting services for government contractors. Over the years, Penny advanced within Deltek, holding various managerial positions such as Design Manager, Director of Documentation and Design, and Senior Director of Functional Design. Penny led teams, managed projects, and implemented consistent processes within the Design team. In 2010, Penny became an Independent Consultant at No Va, providing consulting services until 2014. Penny then joined Technical Business Systems and Technology Business Solutions as a Product Manager, where they played a crucial role in product development. In 2014, Penny joined Technology & Business Solutions, LLC as a Product Director. Most recently, in 2018, they became a Self-Employed Independent Consultant.
