Eloy Roura

Eloy Roura is a highly experienced professional in the field of medical image analysis and autonomous robotics, currently serving as Senior Director and Principal Researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute since April 2020. Prior to this, Eloy held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Health Engineering, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases and technological product development. Eloy's earlier roles include Senior Researcher and Scientific Software Engineer at icometrix, which involved deep learning methods for Traumatic Brain Injuries and MRI biomarker improvement. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Medical Image Analysis by Computer Vision from the University of Girona, complemented by multiple visiting researcher positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Washington and McGill University.
