Piotr Dlugolecki

Piotr Dlugolecki is an accomplished expert in water technologies with over 15 years of experience in various leadership positions within the field. Currently, as the Director of Water Technologies at the Technology Innovation Institute, Piotr leads strategic initiatives focused on innovative solutions for global water challenges, particularly in arid regions. Piotr is also the Founder and Strategic Advisor at Aqua Azure, promoting sustainable water treatment and renewable energy integration. Previous roles include Head of Technology and CTO at Berghof Membranes, where Piotr oversaw technology strategy and product development, and Commercial Technology Manager at Voltea, where Piotr led the commercialization of capacitive deionization technology. Piotr's career began as a researcher at Wetsus, and academic credentials include a PhD from the University of Twente and an MSc from Gdańsk University of Technology, both in chemical engineering and environmental technologies.
