Tiago Trocoli

Tiago Trocoli, MSc., currently serves as the Lead Underwater Robotics Engineer at the Technology Innovation Institute since May 2023, following a tenure as a Senior Underwater Robotics Engineer. Prior experience includes roles at Kraken Robotics from February 2020 to April 2023, where Tiago developed advanced tools for underwater asset measurement using photogrammetry and Convolutional Neural Networks. At Saipem, from January 2019 to January 2020, Tiago contributed to the Hydrone Program, focusing on AUV perception. The early career includes a position as a Computer Vision Software Engineer at SENAI CIMATEC and a Junior Software Developer role at Ericsson Inovação S.A. Tiago holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal da Bahia, as well as degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from IFBA and Universidade Federal da Bahia.
