Thu Stubbs has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Thu began their career as a Tactical Telecommunications Officer in the United States Army, where they were responsible for managing communications electronics for nuclear missions. After leaving the military in 1988, Thu worked at Zenith Data Systems as a Technical Supervisor, overseeing an international customer support department. In 1991, they joined GTSI as an IDIQ Contracts Sales Manager, where they developed and managed an Inside Sales Department for Department of Defense contracts. In 1994, Thu moved to PRC/Litton Industries/Northrop Grumman, where they served as the Super-Mini Program Sales Manager, responsible for inside sales and marketing for federal and commercial computer services contracts. In 2004, they joined CDW-G as the Services Business Development Manager, where they developed and implemented the company's proactive service strategy for federal and state and local sales. Finally, in 1997, they founded Technology Science Corporation, where they currently serve as the CEO, overseeing a wide range of service offerings including program management, unified communication, datacenter/network operations, IT value-added reselling, cyber security solutions, and outreach and DoD special events. Throughout their career, Thu has received numerous awards and recognition for their contributions, including being named one of the Best 10 CEOs of the Year by Industry Era and being recognized as one of MEA's 25 Influential Women in Business.
Thu Stubbs attended the University of Virginia in 2000 for Continuing Leadership Training. Prior to that, they completed their M.B.A in Business at Averett University and their B.A in Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, in 1991 and 1984 respectively.
