Lea-Anne Borton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lea-Anne started their career in 2000 as a Service Coach at Stellar, where they remained until 2004. In 2004, Lea-Anne briefly worked at the City & Guilds Centre for Skills Development as a Support Consultant. After this, they joined Optus in 2005 as a Service Management Officer, and stayed with the company until 2007. In the same year, Lea-Anne joined TechnologyOne as a Senior Support Analyst, and later became the Product Support Lead in 2018.

Lea-Anne Borton attended Coorparoo Secondary College from 1991 to 1995. Lea-Anne then went on to study at The University of Queensland from 1996 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media.
