Paresa Markianidou

Paresa Markianidou is a Partner and Senior Researcher/Consultant at Technopolis Group since 2011, specializing in trade flows, forecasting, and port strategic planning. Prior to this role, Paresa served as a Researcher/Consultant at the Research Centre Commodity Flows from 2008 to 2011, focusing on freight model applications. From 2006 to 2008, Paresa was a Marie Curie EST fellow at the University of Genoa, concentrating on transport modelling and transport economics. An early career stage included an internship at the Council of the European Union in 2004. Paresa holds a PhD in Economics-Trade-Transport and an MSc in Transport Economics from the University of Antwerp, as well as a degree in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus.
