Francesco Parlato has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations.
Francesco started their career in 2015 as a Student Trainee at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. In 2018, they worked as a Student Intern at BAI Brescia Antincendi International S.r.l.
In 2019, Francesco joined INSTM - Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per la Scienza e Tecnologia dei Materiali as a Research Fellow. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Research Intern at Politecnico di Milano, where they later became a PhD Researcher in Materials and Corrosion Engineering.
At Politecnico di Milano, their research focused on microbiologically influenced corrosion and localized corrosion of carbon steel and aluminum, respectively. Francesco conducted various tests and analyses, including materials characterization, chemical and thermal analyses, microscopy, and mechanical and corrosion tests. Francesco also prepared technical reports for other functions.
Francesco's most recent work experience is as a Device Engineer at Technoprobe, where they started in 2021.
Francesco Parlato completed their education in a chronological order. From 2007 to 2012, they attended Liceo Scientifico 'G. Salvemini' and obtained their Maturità scientifica. In 2012, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, which they completed in 2015. Following this, from 2016 to 2019, Francesco pursued a Master's degree in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology at Politecnico di Milano. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the FCE - Grade A certification from Cambridge Assessment English in June 2011, while also achieving the PET - Pass with Merit certification from the same institution in June 2009. Moreover, Francesco obtained the EFSET EXPRESS High Proficiency (CEFR C1/C2) certification from EF Education First in April 2016.
